A boat is a big investment and therefore you should
keep it working at its best. To do this, you should do the following:
The motor is 80% of your
boat. You should check the motor, and the transmission
oil levels every day you use your boat (if possible). The oil
will help the motor have a good performance and to be lubricated.
We suggest that you have a filter and a motor oil change every
50 hours and a transmission oil change every 150 hours. We recommend
synthetic oil since its quality is better and the oil changes
would be every 100 hours.
Check
that the motor compartment has no water
in it , humidity is the reason
for motors, and other mobile parts
to get ruined. Having water in the
motor could be caused by a leak in
the lid or very commonly by the shaft.
Remember that it must be dry, so the
use of WD40 is recommended at least
every 15 days since this product removes
residues produced by water vapor. This
product is easy to use and represents
no risk to the motor.
Boats do not have a radiator to help cool the engine. They take water from the
place they are being used at. The problem is that when they suck in water from
the lake, they also suck in weed, garbage, dirt, etc. That is why the
water filter and the water impeller have to be cleaned periodically. It’s
recommended that they are changed every 150 hours, if you use it longer, the
engine is going to work at a higher temperature and chances are that it could
break due to overheating.
Change the gas filter every 150 hours.
Avoid using your boat whenever the gas tank is under ¼ full so that it
doesn’t absorb the garbage that rests on the bottom.
Use clean gas tanks and hoses to avoid filters and injectors from clogging.
If either the wheel or the accelerator get stiff, it could be a sign of the cables
possibly breaking. Better check that out before you get stuck
in the middle of the lake. And don’t be fooled, cables can’t
be lubricated they must be changed.

If you feel any
vibrations on the propeller or on the flecha the best thing to
do is to fix it or change it. If you continue to use it
like this, you’ll get water in the engine causing screws
to loosen and increasing the use of gas.
Change the spark plugs every 150
hours so that your engine works better.
To keep your boat clean you have to wax it once a month with car wax.
The seats and all the vinyls should be cleaned with water and soap. To protect
them and to add shine you can put some Armor All on them.
Wash the rugs with water and soap and vacuum them.
I recommend that the windows are waxed at least every 15 days to keep them clean
and avoid water stains.
The most important thing is that you remember to have qualified
personnel giving your boat the maintenance it needs to keep working at
its best, avoid problems and detect possible flaws on time.
